Leading hospitality art company Kalisher announced that starting this month, Lindy Veitenheimer will lead its new London office as managing director. Veitenheimer will oversee business development and projects in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets.
According to artist and owner Jesse Kalisher, “Lindy’s arrival marks an exciting expansion at Kalisher. She’s well-known and respected in the hospitality and art industries for her expertise and international work and we’re thrilled to have her on board.”
Veitenheimer brings more than 20 years of experience in the art, hospitality, and technology sectors, having most recently served as the senior vice president of global sales for iRiS Software Systems. Prior to iRiS, she was the vice president of international business development for hospitality art consultant Soho Myriad.
Kalisher’s London office will allow the company to provide custom, locally driven art curation and creation as well as project management to EMEA clients. “We’ve established ourselves as a solid creative engine—whether our studio artists create new artwork in-house or our curatorial team sources artwork by local, independent emerging and established artists worldwide,” Kalisher said. He added that, “When our creative engine is combined with Lindy’s leadership, we’ll bring our creative and project management talents to clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.”
In her new role, Veitenheimer said that she will “focus on sourcing local art from these markets so that each project has a unique voice and perspective.”
Kalisher is owned by artists Helen and Jesse Kalisher. Its studio is located in North Carolina, with offices in London, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Cleveland, Charleston and Palm Springs. The entire Kalisher team now exceeds 80 people, including 12 studio artists and three art curators, as well as 23 staff at Kalisher Manufacturing, also in North Carolina.
