Carnegie, Creation Baumann Celebrate an Enduring Partnership

Both family-owned companies have worked together for 40 years

Leading textile manufacturer Carnegie and Swiss textile innovator Creation Baumann celebrate 40 years of design excellence.

Carnegie and Creation Baumann enjoy a long legacy of creative cooperation. Both are family owned and operated with a philosophy that stresses a long term view and employee engagement. The companies hold high expectations for both the products they produce and for the high level of service offered to clients.

This unique product and marketing association was begun by Bob Goldman of Carnegie and Jorge Baumann of Creation Baumann in 1974. Their sons: Cliff Goldman of Carnegie and Phiippe Baumann of Creation Baumann carry on that legacy. Carnegie is the exclusive distributor of these outstanding Swiss textiles to the commercial building market in the USA.

Carnegie and Creation Baumann share a commitment not only to the aesthetics of textiles, but also to producing quality products, which contribute to improving the well-being of spaces where their textiles are applied.

Staunch sustainable practices are another area where Carnegie and Creation Baumann are in parallel. For both companies sustainability means taking responsibility both for the use of natural resources and for our fellow human beings.

“Engaging with like-minded textile innovators who share our philosophy of solution based textile design is truly inspiring and will reap benefits for both Carnegie and Creation Baumann for years to come,” says Carnegie President Cliff Goldman.
