National Office Furniture Announces Third Annual Gift of Inspiration for Education Environments

Once awarded, National will have donated $110,000 to education and healthcare organizations in the past two years.

JASPER, Ind.—National Office Furniture has announced its third annual $25,000 Gift of Inspiration for Education Environments. As education funding and enrichment program support remain challenged, National is pleased to offer the $25,000 Gift of Inspiration to enhance the learning experience and provide new opportunities for student and educator advancement. The donation can be used for technology needs, scholarships, training and development programs, facility enhancements or any other worthwhile endeavor.

This is National’s third Gift of Inspiration for Education, and fifth overall with two benefitting healthcare organizations. Last year’s education winner, Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas, utilized the $25,000 gift to start their “Building Pathways to Success” scholarship program for first generation college students (identified as students not having any immediate family members that attended or graduated from a two- or four-year college). The funds from National’s Gift of Inspiration will provide opportunities for these students to start a legacy of continuing education to pass along to future generations.

“At National, we strive to create a better tomorrow. We’re very excited to offer our third Gift of Inspiration for Education to help begin another legacy of lifetime enrichment through educational opportunities,” says Kevin McCoy, general manager, National Office Furniture and vice president, Kimball International. ”Whether through volunteering or donations such as the Gift of Inspiration, it’s important to support local communities.”

The latest Gift of Inspiration for Education Environments allows education organizations to register to win $25,000 from the office furniture manufacturer.
