Warmth + Human Spirit: BDNY 2012 Photo Recap

The third annual BDNY tradeshow event was brimming with activity and positivity, despite some wreckage caused by Hurricane Sandy. We tracked down some of the booths that went toe-to-toe with the storm, and talked with designers about their recovery. We also found an emerging use of warmer, fleshier tones, and a continuing turn to golds and pinker metallics.

Counting more than 900 exhibitors across 20 halls within Bologna's expansive trade grounds, Bologna's Cersaie trade fair was filled with stacks of the finest ceramic and porcelain tiles--not to mention the most advanced bath fixtures and furnishings--currently available to designers.
