DELANCO, N.J.—Stylex announces that the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Stewardship Initiative has recognized its brand for taking dedicated measures to improve the environment. This honor celebrates Stylex’s commitment to being green and to ensuring a sustainable future.This prestigious certificate identified Stylex for the proactive measures that they take towards Green Building Implementation, Hazardous Materials Reduction, Materials Conservation, and Innovative Programming.

Stylex’s green initiative expands outside of the company’s home in Delanco, N.J. Stylex was recently recognized for its new LEED-certified showroom in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, which reflects the company’s goal of presenting design in a beautiful, simple and sustainable way. The showroom, made from mostly recycled materials, is a platform for Stylex’s innovative green products, and reflects their design practice.
In addition, recent introductions like the SAVA task and executive chair are up to 98 percent recyclable. Crafted with polished cast aluminum, SAVA’s seat and back are field-replacable, and the product can be disassembled for recycling. All Stylex products also meet GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality and Children and School certification.
