NEW YORK—Condé Nast has selected Gensler, the architecture, design, planning, and strategic consulting firm, to design its new headquarters at 1 World Trade Center, it was announced recently by Charles H. Townsend, Chief Executive Officer of Condé Nast. The leading publishing company will work with Gensler’s team of designers and workplace strategists to develop one million square feet of office space and amenities in preparation for Condé Nast’s move, expected in 2015.
Condé Nast’s goal is to create a space that will celebrate its diverse brands, support and explore innovative ways of working in the digital media age, and provide its employees with increased collaboration space and a highly functional work environment.
