Matt McElvogue
P.E.
Building Exterior Solutions, LLC.

For nearly half of his almost 20 year career in building engineering, Matthew McElvogue, P.E. has focused on building envelope and structural systems investigation, remediation, water infiltration mitigation, and forensics. His combined experience includes geotechnical investigation, foundation design, structural design, and building envelope design and evaluation for new construction, renovation, and restoration. This experience has provided Mr. McElvogue with unique knowledge and understanding of proper construction and specification, poor detailing and execution, and most points in between.

Matt is a Registered Professional Engineer, Registered Waterproofing Consultant, and Registered Roof Observer. He is also serves several roles in Safety and Rescue including company Safety Officer, Fall Arrest Qualified Person, Rope Access Program Manager, Emergency Medical Technician, and FEMA/US Army Corps of Engineers Structures Specialist/Disaster Engineer.

 

Russell Raymond
Senior Associate

Russell Raymond has over twenty years of experience in the sheet metal contracting and building envelope consulting industries. He is currently a Senior Associate at Building Exterior Solutions, LLC in Houston, Texas. He has assessed and designed roofing systems for major oil refinery clients, museums, and hospital systems. He has also assessed and performed quality assurance observations for building envelope systems by others on numerous projects along the Gulf Coast and throughout the United States. Mr. Raymond has also performed numerous forensic investigations pertaining to sheet metal flashing, roofing, and cladding failures.

He is a Registered Roof Consultant, Registered Exterior Wall Consultant, Registered Roof Observer, an Accredited Green Roof Professional, Certified EIFS Inspector, a Certified Tile Roofing Installer, a Certified Nuclear Gauge Operator, and a Construction Documents Technologist.
