This Webinar will explain in clear terms how products may be able to help earn LEED points and which specific credits apply, particularly with respect to LEED-CI. It will address how designers can positively impact Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) through product selection; provide a greater understanding of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and third-party certification programs; and cut through greenwashing and false environmental claims.

Nadav Malin is executive editor of LEEDuser and president and editorial director of BuildingGreen, LLC, where he oversees the company’s online and print information resources, including Environmental Building News, GreenSpec,, LEEDUser, and He also serves as executive editor of McGraw-Hill Construction’s GreenSource magazine. He is founding chair of the Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Rating System, a LEED Faculty Member, and a LEED Accredited Professional. Nadav consults and lectures widely on sustainable design, with a particular focus on green materials. In addition to running LEED training workshops, he has taught seminars for various USGBC chapters, CSI chapters, state AIA chapters, and private architecture firms. He also served on the U.S. team for Green Building Challenge and oversees BuildingGreen’s management of the U.S. Department of Energy's High Performance Buildings Database project.
