Framework for the Future

From the Publisher

Tony Dellamaria,
Group Publisher

The world is changing rapidly. It impacts all of us in many ways. For you, perhaps nearly your entire day is spent in front of a computer screen, using design software, checking e-mail, and accessing Internet resources for the information you need to succeed in your job. For us, things are changing, too. We are moving into a new digital era at ARCHI-TECH.

For 11 years, ARCHI-TECH magazine has been delivering information on cutting-edge technology impacting the design profession, and the projects and people bold enough to embrace it. Beginning Feb. 1, 2009, our commitment to that mission takes a new turn: We are going to produce AT 52 times per year in an all-electronic format. We hope you will continue to subscribe to AT in its new format. If you haven't already, I encourage you to subscribe to the weekly version of AT and bookmark www.architechweb.com as one of your favorites. (If the website wasn't a favorite before, I'm confident it will be now.) With a new site design and coverage that is updated regularly, it promises to be a resource you'll visit again and again.

ARCHI-TECH's online content is targeted to the specific needs and interests of those in the architectural community who design technology into commercial structures. It addresses everything from the trends and technology impacting the practice of architecture to the products and systems that help make buildings sustainable, energy efficient, and "high-tech." The articles you'll read on www.architechweb.com and in the weekly electronic version of AT won't just profile extraordinary building projects, but will also provide technical information to help you specify lighting, audiovisual, security systems, and more.

Our mission to deliver unbiased editorial content on the topics you're most interested in has not changed - but our method of delivery has. Be sure to visit www.architechweb.com and sign up for the weekly newsletter today so you don't miss out on all the great content to be delivered in this exciting, new format.
