Eddy G. Viteri has joined the prominent New York City architecture, design, and planning firm of Montroy Andersen DeMarco (MADGI) as director of construction administration.  The value of MADGI’s ongoing multi-family, commercial, office, and retail projects exceeds $500 million.

“Eddy Viteri’s experience in managing large and complex construction projects in the Greater New York area, nationwide, and overseas will tremendously benefit MADGI’s clients. His expertise will help project teams to accelerate construction schedules, improve communication and collaboration procedures, and streamline construction document flow,” said MADGI Principal Daniel Montroy, AIA.

Viteri’s responsibilities include managing construction administration and selected design activities of all MADGI design and project management teams; overseeing the development of construction drawings; coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors; quality control and constructability reviews; managing permitting procedures and interactions with the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) and other public agencies; and supervising and training MADGI’s project management personnel. He will also lead construction administration activities for the firm’s largest projects.

Viteri supports MADGI’s multi-family studio, which currently has approximately $375 million worth of projects in the design and construction phases. Prior to joining MADGI, Viteri worked at Goldstein Hill & West Architects, Environetics, TPG Architecture, Wasa & Associates, and Mancini Duffy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the City College of New York.
