Jen Bussinger

Corporate and commercial Interiors clients across the U.S. have just seen a proven resource expand exponentially. Jen Bussinger, IIDA, LEED AP, a successful interior designer, now has the backing of a national multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm. She has rejoined Page as an Interior Design Director, bringing an extensive portfolio that spans nearly two decades of commercial interiors environments from corporate headquarters for technology companies to university spaces, healthcare, and law offices.

Bussinger is known for combining strong management skills with an ability to understand what clients truly need and an accomplished design sense. These traits have served her well on notable projects such as the headquarters for Texas Monthly Magazine, a regional office for Tableau Software, and the Yodle, Inc. facility. Her typical client roster includes CEOs, building owners, commercial brokers, and facilities directors seeking commercial interiors that function well, make users feel good, and maximize return on investment.

Her expertise incorporates all aspects of interior design including feasibility studies, conceptual design development, space planning, alternative officing strategies, and stacking analysis. She is accomplished at finish and furniture selection, including custom furniture, millwork and artwork. Additionally, as a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, Bussinger begins planning energy efficient aspects of design as soon as a project concept is introduced.

Her most recent role was Director of Interiors at Noacklittle Architecture and Interiors. Prior to that, she worked for Page, then known as PageSoutherlandPage, for seven years. During that time, Bussinger played a key role on several high-profile Page projects including the Oklahoma State University Alumni Center, the Robert E. Johnson, Sr. Legislative Office Building, the CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) Financial Services Group, and the Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody Law Offices.

According to former colleague and current Page Principal and Interior Architecture Director Wendy Dunnam Tita, "I began working with Jen Bussinger over 15 years ago and am thrilled to have her can-do spirit and her expertise in corporate and commercial design and management skills on the Page team. The timing is optimal as we already have her slated for several key projects and believe she will help us realize the Page goal of becoming a leader in each of our disciplines across the nation."

In her personal time, Bussinger continues to act as an advocate for the interior design profession. Her involvement in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) for the past fifteen years includes service on both the city and regional boards in various positions. Additionally, Bussinger supports higher education by teaching a design studio at the University of Texas at Austin and participating as a Project Design Critic at the University of Texas at Austin,Texas State University and The Art Institute of Austin.

She also is very active in the CentralTexas Chapter of CREW, Commercial Real Estate Women. After three years of membership, she was appointed co-chair of the CREW Careers Program Committee. Bussinger explains, "What I like about CREW is that we are all supportive of female achievers across all facets of the commercial real estate industry.  We share ideas, expertise and ideas in ways that benefit us all."

Although she has spent the majority of her career based in Texas, Bussinger graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies. She began her professional career in the Midwest before moving to Austin to join Page.
