DUBAI--H&H Investment and Development has announced the appointment of leading hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany to develop the interior design concepts of the restaurants at the upcoming Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
With more than three decades of experience in restaurant design from Shanghai to London and New York, Tihany has created signature restaurants for celebrity chefs such as Heston Blumenthal, Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Charlie Palmer, Pierre Gagnaire and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. His hotel designs include the One&Only Cape Town resort in South Africa, the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, the Westin Chosun in Seoul, Korea and The Joule in Dallas.

Adam D. Tihany’s design work for Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach entails three venues, each with a distinct personality. His innovative interpretation of the ground floor restaurant, Souk, is a contemporary take on the versatile Arab food market blended with the all-day dining concept. Guests will have the opportunity to stroll and sample a variety of international cuisines while dining below a grand vaulted ceiling that evokes the open-air market experience.
The Yin and Yang Grill is located on the ocean front by the pool and consists of lounge areas and the enclosed Asian-inspired restaurant. The outdoor lounge emits a soothing evening glow and the intimate fireside sofa pit offers a relaxed gathering space with stunning views. The restaurant provides guests with an upscale seafood dining experience. The interior is thoroughly modern yet inviting with sleek, dark furnishings, warm lighting and a decorative patterned screen connecting the space to its alluring landscape.
Aura, a sleek rooftop lounge area, features a futuristic ice lounge floating over an underlit raised platform. This rooftop oasis is also defined by contemporary cabanas and private seating areas modeled after Majlis – traditional gathering spaces. This area abounds with vibrant colors, textures and styles befitting the dynamic social atmosphere of this chic and lively rooftop space.
