Grace Ice and Water Shield by Grace Construction

Rubberized asphalt underlayment seals around fasteners to ensure leak protection

Ice and Water Shield uses a strong cross-laminated polyethylene carrier sheet that won’t tear under normal service conditions, but still cuts easily. No primer, nails, or special treatment of the laps are required, which eases the process of creating a watertight seal.

The underlayment can be exposed for up to 30 days and can serve as a temporary roof if the final coverings are delayed. Its slip-resistant surface aids foot traction without using granules or grit, which can interfere with watertightness.

The product is also UL classified under all classified shingles for use in detail areas or for full roof coverage.
