VLE-70 High-Performance Laminated Glass by Viracon

Laminated glass is getting greener. Viracon’s new VLE-70 offers neutral aesthetics while reducing direct solar heat gain. The coating provides a visible light transmittance of 68% and a solar heat gain coefficient of .43 in a 9/16” clear laminated configuration. The coating’s high visible light transmittance provides an abundance of natural daylight while minimizing solar heat gain. VLE-70 may be applied on clear glass and all other glass substrates, providing a variety of design and performance choices for commercial buildings.
