Specifying Terrazzo Made Easier with New Website

FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS – The National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association has completed a thorough redesign of its website. The goal of the new site, www.ntma.com, is to give architects and designers a user-friendly format for receiving information on terrazzo flooring systems.

Terrazzo information, including types and systems, care and maintenance, design ideas, and a color pallet, are all readily available. A variety of literature as well as information on the sustainable aspects of terrazzo and how it contributes to LEED points is also offered.

One of the most helpful additions to the site for architects and designers is the availability to download specifications in a PDF or Word Document. CAD details are also available.

A list of member contractors may be sorted by state making it much easier for architects and designers to find an expert in their area. Suppliers may be sorted by category.

All photos on the site are either 2010 Honorable Mention or Honor Award Winners. Information as well as several photos of each award winning installation can be found under the Honor Award tab.

The National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association Inc. is a full service nonprofit trade association headquartered in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Association establishes national standards for all Terrazzo floor and wall systems and provides complete specifications, color plates and general information to architects and designers at no cost. The NTMA can also be reached by calling (800) 323-9736 or by e-mailing info@ntma.com.
