Burlington Technologies Announces Purchase of Verelli Wall Covering Business

Burlington Technologies Inc., a vertically integrated textile company offering dyed yarn services and woven jacquard fabrics, has announced its recent asset acquisition of Verelli’s wall covering business. In its purchase, Burlington Technologies President and CEO Michael Durham says, “We have acquired the trade name Verelli, its intellectual properties, pattern and fabric libraries, order backlog and yarn inventories. We plan on supporting this exciting new business and leveraging the success of the Verelli brand.”

Verelli designs and sells custom wall covering and upholstery fabrics to the hospitality industry, whose end users include higher-end hotels. Verelli wall coverings are also used by major manufacturers of operable partitions and walls for hotel properties, convention centers, hospitals and universities.

Verelli’s products offer hotel and property owners high-style, superior performance fabrics that maintain their look and performance for years. Verelli offers a five-year warranty on its entire offering with certified installers. Verelli services include customized patterns for project managers that offer colors and textures that are tailored to the architectural and design firms’ specific contract needs. All wall coverings are sustainable, flame retardant, microbe and bacterial resistant, cleanable, mold and mildew resistant, color fast and UV resistant.

Burlington Technologies has reached agreements with former employees, agents, sales representatives and designers to continue the positive direction of the Verelli brand. Brian Shore, a prior Verelli employee, has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Burlington Technologies’ new division. L. Wright, the founder of Verelli, LLC has agreed to a consulting role with Burlington Technologies to aid in the overall successful business transition.

Verelli’s headquarters in Gastonia, N.C. is being moved and integrated into Burlington Technologies’ Gibsonville, N.C. location.
