Entry Rules

» Return to Bloom Awards

  1. Submissions open Nov. 17, 2010, and will close at 11:59PM EST on Jan. 31, 2011.
  2. Entries may be submitted electronically via this site only. Entries sent through the mail or by fax will not be considered.
  3. Each entry must be accompanied by a minimum of one, and a maximum of three, high–resolution images, 5 inches by 7 inches.
  4. A short video file may be included with each entry, to be uploaded to the Interiors & Sources FTP site (http://transfer.buildings.com; User name: Buildings; Password: Transfer). All entries should be placed in the Bloom Awards folder and should be clearly labeled.
  5. Submissions of product samples* are encouraged and may include:
    • Finish samples (not to exceed 6” x 6”) of the product showing substrate and final finish coat
    • Fabric samples (not to exceed 1 yard in length)
    • Wallcovering samples (not to exceed 1 yard in length)
    • Carpet samples (not to exceed 12” x 12”)
    • * Product samples will not be returned. Full-scale products such as casegoods, seating, and the like will not be accepted.
  6. Entry fee is $395.00 for the first product submitted. Entry fees are nonrefundable.
  7. Entrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted.
  8. All entry and informational materials become the property of Interiors & Sources and ASID. Entrants agree that photography submitted with entries may be used by Interiors & Sources and ASID in print and online. NOTE: If images submitted are not owned by entrant, it is entrant’s responsibility to ensure that proper user permissions have been obtained from image owners.
  9. Interiors & Sources and ASID reserve the right to disqualify entries that do not conform to entry guidelines.
  10. Following the closing of submissions on Jan. 31, 2011, the Bloom Awards judging panel, made up of industry experts and ASID members, will evaluate all entries.
  11. Winners will be notified prior to NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago from June 13-15, 2011. Interiors & Sources editors will contact winners to obtain more information about the winning products and will feature those products more extensively in an upcoming issue of Interiors & Sources magazine.
